My focus is your well-being and good health. 

 

Too often therapy and psychological treatments can take a long time and therefore can be very discouraging due to the lack of apparent progress.

Using your own resources encouraged by recognised techniques most problems can be resolved quickly within two or three sessions and it is not uncommon for less complex issues to be addressed after one meeting.

 

I have identified NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) coaching and therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) as offering the best opportunity to allow clients to resolve issues by themselves with guidance.

 

Unlike other appoaches that try to determine why things have happened in your life and tell you what you need to do, NLP and EFT particularly are how to technologies, meaning you are not just following a set of instructions - you are in control of the changes you are making.

 

These techniques give you the tools to react differently by choice, to become more aware of your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. You will then be able to take responsibilty for your problems, health and fitness once and for all.

It is also a practical example of how quickly the use of words can change peoples perceptions and it emphasises the importance of being aware your own 'self talk' in influencing your behaviour.
