There can be variations but as a starting point. therapy is sometimes described as examining the past to change and inform the present and coaching on exploring the present to define a better future.
In coaching, clients have an outcome in mind usually within a particular context perhaps career or relationships and tend to involve goal setting and are action oriented. Time tends not be an issue.
On the other hand therapy addresses particular issues or problems which clients would want to be addressed quickly and which influence many contexts in their personal lives.
My approach to coaching and therapy has NLP at its heart. EFT has similar objectives and is used selectively depending on the circumstances but is particularly useful in relieving stress and anxiety.
Together they will be able to offer a solution for your problems and resolution to conflicts and difficulties.

Watch 'The Power of Words' - The Red Balloon: http//www.youtube.com/watch...
The video was produced to demonstrate the power of language in advertising and marketing.
It is also a practical example of how quickly the use of words can change peoples perceptions and it emphasises the importance of being aware your own 'self talk' in influencing your behaviour.
'It is not the actual words themselves that create consciousness or heal the body or change conditions. They're just the forms we use to express feelings and thoughts. It is the awakened realisations behind them that have the real power, and words with spiritual power go forth and create'
